I fell in love with deviantArt stamps today and decided I'd try my hand at one. My artist friends and my art teacher always bothered me about my deep affection for mechanical pencils, so I decided to spite them further with this stamp, even though they don't even have dA accounts.

**1/21/2010** Thanks everybody for making this my most faved deviation. I hope it continues to spread the mechanical pencil love for years to come.**

Totally agree with you. Mechanical pencils are more efficient with producing led, and able to make beautiful dark lines with artwork. Also, with writing, my handwriting is really small, and can't be able to read it with a normal pencil or a 0.7 mechanical.
I use my regular sucky wooden pencil with shading big spaces, bad part with a mechanical pencil is shading will take longer if you are a 0.5 led user like me. :la:

You should get a 0.7 mechanical too and use that one for shading and the 0.5 for everything else :)

Yeah that could work too. But I just get a regular pencil because its cheaper than 0.7.
I could afford it but I don't want to be wasting money. :iconmingplz:

Oh. With the pencils I buy, the 0.5 and 0.7 mm both cost just as much, and it's always good to have a few extra pencils because sometimes one will break, and people borrow your pencils to eat ( :hungry::pencil::chew::P ) or something because you never get them back sometimes!

But I can't afford new pencils either, and I have to make sure I get mine back when someone borrows one! I need the pencil and the leads!

Thank you so much for this :)
Mechanical pencils are awesome! Whenever I use wooden pencils and they get shortened down halfway, the lead always falls out D:
